| In order to successfully run the required software for most
online, Multimedia or computer with modem courses, your computer
needs to meet or exceed certain requirements.
Computer Hardware Minimums:
- Pentium 133 MHz or better (Pentium II 266 or higher recommended)
- 32 Mg of Ram or higher
- 56K modem recommended
Software:
- Windows 95 or higher
- Software to complete the course – some courses
require certain software, such as MS Word, and the college
does not provide the software
Other Computer Requirements
- Internet Service Provider (ISP)
- Email address – Mott does provide every student
with a web mail address. Check your syllabus for specific
instruction in regard to email.
- A Web Browser, such as Internet Explorer or Netscape
- An activated Blackboard Account (See
using Blackboard)
