Associate of General Studies
The Associate of General Studies (AGS) is for students who wish to study a variety of areas without committing to a specific field and is designed to provide exposure to a wide array of educational experiences. This degree provides a general background for students who wish to transfer but are undecided about a major and for those simply seeking a general educational experience preparing to enter the world of work or for life enrichment.
         
To receive an associate degree, you must complete a total of 62 credit hours, with at least 30 of the last 45 from Mott, and with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0. Credit hours (cr) and contact hours (ct) are not always the same.
